Task 2 audience research

The short film which i will be making will be based at a certain target audience the audience age gap will be 15-18 and it is a thriller the thriller will consist of a variety of characters such as a slasher a detective a victim and other side characters possibly 2 detectives. below are a number of different pictures that show what my ideas will be based upon. the most popular short thriller was the smiling man. and there were also other thrillers.
Here is the number of views which the smiling man got this shows people liked it as it was very impact this also had lots of suspense. this is why people are liking thrillers.


This is why i will be making a thriller for this reason. more people will watch it so it will gain more and more popularity. in the comments people have mentioned how they feel about this short film.

another thing which made this video really popular was the amount of likes which it received this shows to us that thrillers are highly approved by a number of different
audiences. This also shows the amount of subscribers which the creator got for creating the video. as you are able to tell on the left hand side it got 21 126 subscribers in total.

Horrors are popular but they are not as popular as thrillers such as this which can make you feel uneasy but there are a number of different short horror film.

as you can see for this short film which is porcelain rising we can see it has no were near the amount of views which the smiling man has. in fact this film only has 1,200,000 views were as the smiling has around 3,700,000 views which is almost half it also has lot more dislikes.
